At East Hill we want to know why you are requesting a car tune up in the first place. What we have found is that if the car runs poorly or differently than normal, the customer often automatically asks for a car tune up. Today’s vehicles are very sophisticated and full of computers and sensors that can cause your car to act strangely. So a tune up might not fix the problem, and a proper diagnosis from the mechanic could be beneficial.
Well, a car a tune up involves replacing the fuel filter, all the spark plugs, air filter, PCV filter and distributor ignition rotor plus all applicable labor charges. At East Hill our price includes all of the aforementioned. If you are price comparing between shops, our price is naturally going to be higher if the other shop’s tune up package is ONLY replacing spark plugs. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples if you are calling around.
Absolutely! Your safety and that of your passengers is of great concern to us at East Hill. By appointment we will examine your car thoroughly which includes putting it on a lift along with a road test to determine its safety, reliability and if its been in an accident.
